Missy Higgins Cover Art

After a decade working in the music industry (including a 2005 ARIA nomination for 'Best Cover Art' for Missy Higgins? The Sound of White), Cathie Glassby's illustrations have emerged from her love of music, pop culture, vintage posters and fashion.

Her retro-tinged work has featured on a kaleidoscope of medium including fabric prints, tour posters, album covers, TVCs, retail installations and in various exhibitions.

Cathie's work has led her to be selected as one of a stable of artists to contribute to iconic Australian brand Mambo, and the Australian artist run collective Art Park, with her artwork included in clothing ranges, exhibitions and publications.

In 2008 Cathie was nominated as one of the world's most exciting female illustrators by illustration almanac Curvy.

Cathie released her first children's book Dads - A Field Guide, through Random House Australia in 2012.
